Restorative and Implant Dentist – Mount Pleasant, SC
Get to Know Dr. Jeffrey Johnson
Dr. Johnson actually grew up with a dentist for a dad. He knew from an early age that he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps – in fact, in elementary school, he wrote that he wanted to become a dentist too! Today, he couldn’t be happier to have made that long-ago goal a reality.
After completing his undergraduate degree at the College of Charleston, Dr. Johnson pursued his dental doctorate at the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. He has also undergone advanced training in dental implant surgery through the Engel Implant Institute. Dr. Johnson was also invited to and now serves as a Clinical Instructor there to teach other dentists how to place implants. He is an outstanding general and restorative dentist and will be providing our patients with all aspects of general restorative and surgical care. Today, he is currently a member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, and SPEAR Education.
Away from work, Dr. Johnson has a wonderful fiancée named Jennifer and two Miniature Dachshunds named Duggie and Daika. He is also very close with his parents and older brother. In his spare time, you can usually find him on the ocean! He loves fishing, boating, and looking for shark’s teeth on the beach. He also works out at the gym as often as possible.
